For the past two years, I have watched the Tales of the Cocktail Instagram and yearned to be able to visit during the week-long cocktail celebration. This year- I finally attending the conference and could not be more pumped!

While I do have four years of the San Antonio Cocktail Conference under my belt- this event is completely uncharted territory for me. I’ve been to New Orleans before, about 4 years ago, and was a freshman to the drinking and cocktail scene. While I did hit up Bourbon Street during my first visit, the only place I stopped in at was the famed Pat O’Brien’s for the frequently ordered Hurricane. While it was delicious, and I got to enjoy sharing the cocktail with my mother, the experience left a lot to be desired.

This time visit will be different! I am so excited to check out the tasting rooms that Tales has to offer, attend a couple of seminars that I have purchased tickets for, and most of all, indulge in the Big Easy. While I am doing my own research, I would love to hear from those that have visited New Orleans before and to get some advice on which places to go to!
